The room was spacious, had a standard double bed, an on-site restaurant and bar, a balcony with lovely views, easy check-in.

Comfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud! 🛏️ The room had air conditioning and its own balcony, which was a nice touch. Plus, there was a cozy lounge area to relax in.

Convenient location close to the aquarium 🐠. the area is peaceful with plenty of restaurants, the Esplanade, a shopping center, the regional coach station, and the waterfront nearby.

The hotel has a great location, close to everything you might want to do or see. the staff was fantastic, very friendly, and provided good service. - the rooftop bar served outstanding food. - Got everything I needed, excellent value for money.

The rooms offered are air conditioned and brand-new with beautiful views, a table and chairs plus bathroom.

Views are pretty average.

Family room with sofa bed, had essentials required. Location: the hotel was near many resturants, the Esplanade and the shopping centre, restaurants, entertainment, marina and lagoon, and the restaurants along the esplanade. Stopped by Cafe Centre Stage to get some coffee and treats, it's a few steps away from the venue, recommend.

Truly exceptional hotel with amazingly helpful staff, especially the receptionists. Magnificent location, a short distance from Cairns Zoom And Wildlife Dome. Very close to restaurants, shops, eateries, nightclubs, and many more things to do.

The Benson Hotel is located directly in the center of town, making it a convenient choice for exploring the city area. The attention to detail, from the service to the basic amenities, is commendable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that everything we needed was taken care of. The rooms on level 4 were clean and comfortable, with a buffet breakfast included in the rates.

room could have been aired prior to our arrival as it had a musty smell we opened the window to freshen it up I understand Cairns is in the Tropics and humidity causes smells etc but perhaps a short airing would have helped minimise the smell

We absolutely loved the location of this hotel in Cairns. The complimentary breakfast was such a great addition to our stay. The Cairns Central Business district is definitely worth exploring.

The beds were the best feature the pool was excellent and the food was really good.

During my stay at the hotel, I was impressed by the convenient location. It was right in the heart of the city, close to shops and the boulevard. I didn't need a taxi at all. Additionally, the hotel offered WiFi included, which was a great value addition. The rooms were well-sized and had nice views on the upper floors.

Although the hotel showed signs of age, such as noisy air-conditioning and an outdated bathroom, it still provided a comfortable stay overall. The hotel had character, and the cleanliness of the room was satisfactory.
